日焼けした肌に水色のTシャツがお似合いのMr. Somsak Khruewanは、"1 Rai 1 Million"といプロジェクト※を導入した第一人者です。
※1ライ(1600平方メートル)の面積で100万バーツの収入を得る。
今もこのセンターで、次世代を担う若者や訪問者に指導アドバイスもされているそうで、水の保全や化学物質を使わない持続可能な農業について学ぶことができます。
村長さんご自身の生活としては、従業員を雇うなどはせず、ご家族一世帯だけで暮らしていらっしゃるんだとか。
He, Mr. Somsak Khruewan, introduced "1 Rai 1 Million" project※.
※using the area of 1 rai to make income of 1 million baht
He has been still giving advices and leading young people who represent the next generation and some visitors.
We can learn various activities in the Center, such as, the study to save water, the study of Integrated Farming without chemicals.
Now, he himself makes a living with his family without employing anyone.

Then, let's take a walk around.

見た目はアレですが…臭いは大丈夫！（笑）
These tanks contain manure made by pig excrement.
He produces farming crops by using them.
They have no bad smell at all.

全てを自給自足でまかない、自然の中で生きていく。
とても興味深く、とても貴重な体験でした。
